Laura Spector

I am a visual artist from New York City living in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  I've been making art since 1994 and have been teaching art to children and adults for the past 8 years. 

In my freetime I enjoy organizing events at my community art center where I host music performances of local singer/songwriters, jazz and classical musicians.  I've hosted storytelling performances, community art exhibitions and fundraisers for local NGO groups.  I also really dig making album covers for friends who are recording original music and book covers for authors. And, of course, writing for HubPages - where there isn't much money, but there's lots of love.
